I hate that first photo. By the time you read this I may have already deleted it, and you will never know what it looked like. The whole post is actually pretty lazy, me and Joey were just waiting for our table to be called at dinner and he whipped out the camera because the sun was so pretty. Sorry my last two posts have been like, lame pants and a t-shirt.
Anywho, we just got back from seeing Insidious, which was terrifying. It was a total throwback to that whole '70s style of using campy and surreal elements to just blow your mind. Movies almost never scare me anymore, but if a demon sharpening his claws in a lair filled with hanging marionettes while 'Tiptoe Through the Tulips' trills away in the background doesn't scare you, then nothing will. I'm not going to give up anything else, but if you are a fan of horror (horror, not torture porn) then this one is well worth your time. There were some really goddamn obnoxious kids in our showing, and I desperately wanted to ask one of them to define the word "insidious", but Joey preferred the highly useful "screaming at them" method. It worked.
I suppose this shall be the end of my super lame Tuesday evening post. Don't forget to enter the Urban Revisions Shredded Scarf Giveaway Extravaganza!! Oh, and while I'm link link linking away (this is a new skill for me and it's highly satisfying)...you see that little gold cross hanging on my heavily braceleted wrist? It's a tiny part of my beyond favorite piece, gifted by my little kickass gifting fairy Madeline and her awesome employer, Konstantino jewelry. Seriously, it has not left my wrist since the package came. My friend Katie (who currently has a craptastic broken arm so everyone send bone-healing vibes her way) asked recently if I sleep in all my jewelry. The sad answer is yes, the favorites stay on 24/7. This made the team immediately. Next on my Konstantino list- here, here, and here. Oh, and here. Now THAT is some competitive linking AND some competitive husband's money spending. God, that last sentence was kind of awful. Ok, goodnight.
